Women's Studies Internship Opportunities

Internships offer an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience,
explore and confirm career choices, develop professional contacts, and
learn new skills. WMST 496 Internship offers 3 credits of field
placement for students in agencies or organizations working on projects
that serve women. It requires 100-120 hours of unpaid work. Consult the
current Undergraduate Catalog for the prerequisites for the
Internship, which is administered through the Career Center and
supervised by the women's studies internship coordinator; if interested,
contact Dr. Karen Dugger, Linthicum Hall 101C, 410-704-5456, kdugger@towson.edu. The
Career Center maintains an updated list of placement opportunities in
the Baltimore and Washington, D.C., areas.
