The following interdisciplinary (WMST) and departmental women’s studies courses are currently in the curriculum. Any course can only count toward one focus area. Some courses fulfill General Education (GenEd) requirements.
MAJOR IN WOMEN’S STUDIES
Women’s Studies majors are required to complete 39 credit hours with a grade equivalent of 2.00 or higher from among the following:

WMST 485 Seminar in Women’s Studies
Focus Area (12 course credits): Students must select a focus area among the four listed below. Of the 12 credits necessary for the focus area, 6 course credits must be WMST courses.
Distribution Requirement (18 Course Credits): Students must take 6 course credits in each of the remaining three focus areas other than the one selected.
