TIP GRANT PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS
2003-2004

 

 

 

As a protégé, you will be expected to:

 

• Attend and participate in a PT3 grant orientation meeting in November 2003
  
  
• Fill out all required forms including:

*Participant Information

*Pre- and Post-Project Skills Survey

*Project Planning Sheet (in conjunction with mentor)

*Grant Evaluation Questionnaire

*Reflective Summary about your grant experience

• Meet with your mentor approximately once a week in the first weeks of the project and as needed later.
• Towson faculty only-Have your students participate in a Student Skills Survey.
• Schedule one classroom observations with the TIP grant office.
• Submit student/personal examples that reflect the best of your project for archival purposes.
• Present your project at the Project Showcase (May 2004).

 

As a mentor, you will be expected to:

*Meeting Logs

*Grant Evaluation Questionnaire

• Meet with and assist your protégé approximately once a week in the first weeks of the project and as needed later; document these meetings in the meeting logs.
• Assist protégé in preparing for and attend the Project Showcase (May 2004).
