New Locations, Same Service

Due to HVAC renovations to the first floor of Cook Library, OTS' campus technology support centers have temporarily relocated for spring semester 2006.

Student Computing Services
Students can find SCS in rooms 103 and 107 of the Enrollment Services building.

All components of SCS have relocated to Enrollment Services, including:

  • SCS Computer Lab -- available to all students regardless of major on a walk-in basis
  • Service Desk -- provides phone, e-mail and walk-up support
  • Learning Center -- offers consulting services and workshops as part of OTS Training
  • OMR Scantron service for faculty

The temporary relocation offers several added benefits:

  • A computing facility on the east side of campus with pay-for-print access
  • A TU shuttle stop close by
  • Parking for students directly outside of Enrollment Services in lot 17a Monday-Thursday after 5 p.m., Friday after 3 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 24 hours

Help Center
Faculty and staff can find the Help Center in Cook Library, room 29.

Telephone and e-mail support will continue as usual. Walk-in service to the Help Center is available for all faculty and staff during regular business hours. Press the buzzer at room 29 and a representative will assist you.

To ensure optimal service during the construction, the Help Center asks that faculty and staff with notebook computers DO NOT bring their computer systems to Cook for service or repairs. Instead, please call the Help Center and someone will pick up your computer and return it when service is completed (or if possible service it onsite).
