Middlesex University is
one of the most popular universities in the UK for international
students. While its diversity and size make it one of the
largest universities in the UK, each of its three campuses
is small enough to be friendly and welcoming - students benefit
from big campus facilities with a small campus feel.
Middlesex University is located just outside the UK capital of London -
one of the liveliest and most cosmopolitan cities in the
world and home to more than 7.7 million residents. With music
and sports venues, art galleries, theaters, museums, and
shops, this city has something for everyone. It takes approximately
30-40 minutes to reach the city from the university by underground
and open countryside and beaches are only a train ride away.
Each campus is served by a combination of bus, underground
and suburban rail services.
Academic Information:15-16 U.S. credits (60 UK credits) per semester. TU students may receive Honors College credit for their study abroad experience.
Please note that students are advised not to take classes on more than one Middlesex campus. The travel distance between the Trent Park Campus and the Hendon Campus can take up to an hour via public transport.
Dates:
Academic Year only: October - May
Housing: On-campus self-catering apartments. University accommodation is guaranteed to all students who apply by the housing application deadline.
Costs: TU tuition and fees. Additional costs include airfare, housing, meals, personal expenses,$180 health insurance fee per semester, and a $300 study abroad fee per semester. TU Tuition remission can be applied.
Eligibility: Student must be a full-time undergraduate degree-seeking student at TU with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7. Sophomore/Junior/Senior status.
Application Process: Fill out the application and submit it to the TU Study Abroad Office. $100 exchange application fee.
