Leeds Metropolitan University is one of the largest and most popular in the UK with over 41,000 students. Leeds Met has a vibrant and growing international community with over 3,500 international students from over 120 countries.
The City of Leeds has been voted the UK ’s top city. It's a city for everyone, catering to all lifestyles, tastes and cultures. Leeds is a multicultural city, something that is evident in its population, its
shops and in its overall friendly feel. The cost of living in Leeds is lower than other parts of the UK, particularly
London and the south and has over 250 bars, pubs and restaurants. It’s an absolute student haven, with so much to see and do, no matter how large or small your budget.
Leeds’ central location makes an ideal base from which to explore the UK, with London only two hours away and Edinburgh only three hours. The city has excellent transport links and the international airport has regular flights to many destinations. Leeds is an ideal location to explore other parts of the UK and you can easily visit other European cities such as Paris or Barcelona.

Housing Options: "Self-catering flat" -- campus dorm with shared kitchen and bath
Cost: TU Tuition and fees. Additional costs include housing (paid upon arrival), meals, transportation, personal expenses, $300 TU study abroad fee, and $150 health insurance fee.

Application Process: Must be a full-time undergraduate degree-seeking student at TU.
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75. Junior/Senior status.
Submit the TU Study Abroad Exchange Application (PDF) to
the TU Study Abroad Office. $100 exchange application fee.
