TU Programs
Towson University is proud to offer students the opportunity to study all over the world while earning academic credit toward their degrees. Towson University study abroad programs come in a variety of options and are among the most cost effective. Grades and credits earned on these programs will transfer back to your Towson transcript and count towards your degree. Federal financial aid and TU scholarships can be used to pay for these programs.
University System of Maryland Programs
TU students are also encouraged to consider study abroad programs offered through other University System of Maryland schools.
Non-TU Programs
If you cannot find a Towson University study abroad program that meets your specific needs, don't be discouraged! There are many options to study abroad beyond what TU offers. These programs are not run by TU but by other organizations and universities. Grades and credits earned on these programs will transfer back to your Towson transcript and count towards your degree. The cost to participate will vary from program to program, as will the services included. Federal financial aid and TU scholarships can be used to pay for these programs.
