In the course of the past 40 years, Sogang University has attained a leading position in Korean higher education by offering high standards of education, a superior quality of administrative service, and efficiently constructed facilities. As a result, Sogang is regarded highly throughout Korea and abroad by more than 40,000 alumni and close to 10,000 current students. Sogang is affiliated with over 100 universities in 33 countries including 31 partner universities in the U.S.
Sogang University is located in the heart of South Korea's capital city of Seoul. With over ten million people living within its city limits, Seoul is one of the largest and most densely populated cities in the world. The city is the country's political, cultural, and economic center, as well as an international business center, and is considered one of the top 20 "world-class cities". The bus and subway systems make traveling throughout the city easy and affordable. All the major attractions that Seoul has to offer are within easy reach of the university.
Academic Information: 12 - 16 U.S. credits. AACSB accredited. Students fluent in Korean may select courses from the regular Sogang curriculum taught in Korean. TU students may receive Honors College credit for their study abroad experience.
Language of Instruction: English and Korean.

Housing Options: Students are encouraged to live in the dormitory located adjacent to the Sogang campus. The
dormitory fee for one semester (four months) includes two meals a day (breakfast and dinner) in the
dormitory cafeteria. The dormitory provides a great opportunity for foreign and Korean students to interact and communicate. The Office of International Affairs at Sogang University will assist in locating
a suitable boarding house near the campus if requested.
Cost: TU tuition and fees. Additional costs include airfare, housing, meals, $180 health insurance fee, personal expenses, and a $300 study abroad fee. TU Tuition remission can be applied.
Eligibility: Student must be a full-time undergraduate degree-seeking student at TU with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Sophomore/Junior/Senior status.
Application Process: Fill out the application and submit it to the TU Study Abroad Office. $100 exchange application fee.
