TU Summer in Paris, France
June 4 - July 15, 2008
Spend five weeks in Paris in Summer 2008 with Towson University. With over 30 million foreign visitors per year, Paris is the most popular
tourist destination in the world. The city is home to numerous iconic landmarks including the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame cathedral, the Champs-Elysées, and the Arc de Triomphe along with world famous institutions such as the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, and popular parks like Disneyland Paris.
Program highlights include a 2-day excursion to Brussels - the capital city of Belgium - and a day-trip to Versailles. Housing in self-catered apartments is included in the program price.
All students will enroll in 'HIST 484: Contemporary Issues in Modern French History' taught by TU Professor Nicole Dombrowski and choose one additional course offered through the American Business School of Paris:

- International Relations - POSC 107 Gen Ed II.D
- Economic Evolution of Europe Since World War II - ECON 324 or ECON Upper Division Elective

The program will arrange for a group rate on a round-trip flight to Paris from the Baltimore region. Students pay the travel agent directly for the flight. Participation in the group flight is optional.

Course: HIST 484 Contemporary Issues in Modern French History (3 credits) plus one course offered through the American Business School of Paris Summer Program (3 credits).

Cost:* $4,100 includes tuition (6 credits), housing, and excursions. Additional costs include airfare, meals, $150 study abroad fee, personal spending money.

limited.
Application Process: Fill out an application and submit it to the TU Study Abroad Office. $250 deposit required at time of application. Non-TU students must also submit a completed Non-Degree Enrollment Application.
