Liz Shearer - Director
Liz advises for all programs in Asia. She also works with graduate study abroad students and is the TU representative for the Boren Awards. Liz completed a B.A. in Social Sciences at Nottingham Trent University in the UK and holds an M.A. in Liberal and Professional Studies from Towson University. Liz moved to the U.S. from Bristol, England in 1998 and joined the TU Study Abroad Office in 2000.
Kelly Holland - Associate Director
Kelly advises for Spain and Spanish-speaking countries and coordinates all incoming international exchange students. She earned an M.Ed. in Global Educational Leadership at Lehigh University and a B.A. in International Business Management and Spanish at Moravian College. She participated in a semester-long study abroad program in Granada, Spain as an undergraduate and spent a year teaching in Seville. Kelly joined the TU Study Abroad Office in 2013.
Jen Crystle - Advisor
Jen advises for Australia, Canada, Fiji, Ireland, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. She earned an M.A. in International Educational Development from Columbia University and a B.A. in Spanish and English from the University of Mary Washington. As an undergraduate, she studied abroad for a semester in Bilbao, Spain, and later returned to Bilbao to work as a program assistant for a summer abroad program. Jen joined the TU Study Abroad Office in 2014.
Katie Lorge- Advisor
Katie advises for Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Semester at Sea. She earned an M.A. in International Training and Education from American University, and holds a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish from the University of Illinois. As an undergraduate student, she studied abroad for a semester in Valparaíso, Chile, and participated in two short-term programs first in Costa Rica, and later in Western Europe. Katie joined the TU Study Abroad Office in 2014.
Arielle Schweber - Programs Assistant
Arielle advises on and administers the application and admission process for faculty-led programs. This position provides administrative support for the office, facilitates programming, and assists with the International Exchange Student Program. She earned an M.A. in International Education at New York University, and holds a B.A. in French from Dickinson College. Arielle studied abroad in Toulouse, France as an undergraduate and also completed two short-term programs to Cuba and India during her graduate career. Arielle joined the TU Study Abroad Office in 2015.
