International Student Exchange

Admissions & Pre-Arrival Process

Admissions Process

Once your International Student Exchange Application and supporting materials have been reviewed by our office you will be notified of your acceptance status. If your application is approved an Acceptance Packet will be mailed to the Study Abroad or Exchange Coordinator at your home institution.

Your Acceptance Packet will include the following information:

  • Official letter of admission
  • Pre-arrival information
  • Semester dates
  • Details of the mandatory orientation meetings
  • Course schedule (if available at time of admission)
  • Form I-20 immigration document

Please review the following information from the TU International Student And Scholar Office before traveling to the United States:

  • Welcome Letter for Exchange Students
  • Health Insurance and Housing
  • Financial Matters

    Student Visa

    All TU Partner Exchange students must obtain an F-1 visa in order to enter and study in the United States. To obtain a visa you must take your official admissions letter and Form I-20 to your local US consulate. Click here for more information on obtaining a visa.
