2008 Election Day Activities

Be prepared on Election Day! To verify that you are registered, locate your polling site and preview your ballot, visit the Maryland Board of Elections online.

Vote Smart Tour Bus on Campus
The Vote Smart tour bus will be in parking lot 11, outside of the Union Parking Garage, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Vote Smart staff will be passing out nonpartisan information about candidates running for national, state and local offices. Check it out on your way to the polls!

Election Day Shuttle Bus to Local Polling Sites
The shuttle bus will leave from the MTA bus stop in Lot 11 outside the Union garage, on the hour, every hour starting at 7 a.m. Polls are open from 7 a.m.– 8 p.m. and the last shuttle will leave at 8 p.m. to pick up voters. The shuttle will drop off and pick up voters at five local polling stations.

Election Night Party in PAWS

7:30 p.m.- midnight
University Union, PAWS Lounge

Watch the Presidential Election results on the big screen TV! PAWS will be open and serving food until midnight as part of this great Election Night Party!
