LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS

LEADERSHIP IS REAL.

Towson University is the perfect place to become a leader!

How do I become a leader?

  • Start with yourself
  • Become involved on campus
  • Take every opportunity to enhance your leadership skills/practice
  • Learn from others
  • Share with others

The Office of Student Activities has a wide variety of offerings each term to aid your leadership development track. L.E.A.D. TU is a workshop program that explores various topics and creates a network for student leaders. LeaderShape is a highly selective program for freshmen and sophomores that takes place off campus in January for six intensive, life-changing days. Each term, conference and retreats offer amazing opportunities to interact with other student leaders, put your skills into practice and enjoy time away from classes.

This semester we are offering a new program entitled "Leadership Out Loud: Pump Up the Volume."  This workshop series focuses on the critically acclaimed book "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens" and helps TU students dialogue about specific aspects of leadership.
