OFF-CAMPUS STUDENT SERVICES
Commuter Student Organization
What is it?
CSO was created to advocate for non-residential students, promoting
awareness of commuter issues in and around Towson University. CSO
works with Off-Campus Student Services to provide opportunities for commuter
student involvement and development. Events like Good Morning
Commuters, Commuter Appreciation Day, and Finals Fuel allow students living
off-campus to interact with and meet other commuting students. CSO
also strives to create a stronger relationship between TU students and the
local community through events such as the Town & Gown Clean-up day.
Why be a member of the CSO?
First and foremost, the CSO gives students an
opportunity to get involved on campus! Members of CSO are invited
to all Off-Campus Student Services events to eat for free and join in games and
activities with fellow commuters. By joining the CSO, students
will receive Commuter Express a monthly newsletter with
important dates and campus updates.
How can I join?
There are many ways you can join the CSO! You can either
join our group on INVOLVED@TU or our iCOMMUTE listserv on
lists.towson.edu.
Once you attend an event, you will receive a membership card!
