Meet the SGA

President's Letter to the Student Body

Thank you for your interest in the Student Government Association! We hope to serve as a resource for you during your time here at Towson. Each year undergraduate students pay a fee that allows the SGA to have a broad impact on your Towson University experience. SGA funds activities ranging from the Pep Rally to Campus Activities Board (CAB) events like Tigerfest, Homecoming Concert, and comedians to Sports Clubs and other student organizations! The SGA also takes on a major role as the advocacy body for students by appointing student representatives to sit on University Committees and meets with administrators to ensure the students have a voice in the university decision making process.

I would also like to emphasize that the SGA is here for you, existing to serve, advocate, and stand up for the students of Towson University. If you have questions, concerns, or just general comments we would love to hear from you.
