Secondary Employment

 

 

 

 

The following forms are required for payment related to work you perform in addition to your primary role at Towson University:

 

Faculty in Pins with University benefits (Currently paid on Regular Payroll)

1.   Secondary Employment Requisition - complete the attached form, print it and obtain all approvals before submitting to the Provost's Budget Office with the other 2 forms listed below Secondary Employment Requisition (Word)
2.  Secondary Agreement.-   Secondary Employment Agreement (Word)
3.  Flat rate payment form- Flat Rate Payment Form (Pdf)

4.  For Online Course Development Only- Complete the Work for Hire Agreement Flat Rate Payment Form (Pdf)

 

Staff in Pins with University benefits (Currently paid on Regular Payroll)

Lecturers, Contingent Staff or Part Time Faculty (Currently paid on Contingent Payroll)

1.   Position Requisition - complete the attached form, print it and obtain all approvals before submitting to the Provost's Budget Office with the other 2 forms listed below Position Requisition (Word). You will be paid hourly based on your completion of a timesheet.

3. For Payment

  a) Teaching, Mentoring or Advising responsibilities can submit a Flate Rate Payment form: Flat Rate Payment Form (Pdf), all other responsibilities complete the timesheet per the directions in item b

b) Timesheet-Go to the inside.towson.edu site and under the Timesheet Bar click on Faculty and Staff Timesheet. If no timesheet is available to you then print out this form and complete for the hours worked - Timesheet (Pdf). If your timesheet is not available on line after 2 payroll cycles , contact Rosemary Curtis at 410-704-6021 to determine when the timesheet will be available.

Fall 2008 Session Part Time Contracts are currently available, This contract has been updated for the Fall 2008 semester for Part time Faculty. Insure you are using the current contract and not the older version of this document.

Lecturer Health Insurance Procedures are located here. The revised costs for Acadmemic Year 2008 to 2009 have been updated in this document. Please make an appointment with the Department of Human Resources Benefits office to initiate the paperwork for your benefits
