Schedule a Testing Session

IF REQUIRED, YOU MUST COMPLETE PLACEMENT TESTING. A "NEEDS PLACEMENT TESTING" MESSAGE WILL BE LOCATED ON YOUR STUDENT CENTER TO-DO LIST AND A NOTIFICATION LETTER IN A BRIGHT YELLOW ENVELOPE WILL BE MAILED TO YOU. 

DO NOT CALL TO SCHEDULE FOR PLACEMENT TESTING IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED  SUBMITTED YOUR ENROLLMENT CONTRACT AND ENROLLMENT FEE.

ATTENTION TO STUDENTS WHO NEED TO PARK. DUE TO CONSTRUCTION, STUDENTS NEED TO PARK IN THE TOWSONTOWN PARKING GARAGE AND PURCHASE A PARKING PERMIT (PAY STATION MACHINE LOCATED ON LEFT SIDE OF VISITOR BOOTH) TO AVOID TICKETING. PLEASE REFER TO THE CAMPUS MAP (BELOW) FOR DIRECTIONS. The parking fee during the summer is $2.00 for the entire day.  The rate ends August 24!

1. Do not complete the form below to schedule a testing session. Group testing sessions have ended. Call 410-704-2418 to schedule an individual testing appointment. If you are required to complete testing in all batteries (reading, writing and math); they are given on the same day. The writing test battery has a maximum time of 60 minutes; the math and reading test batteries are un-timed. However, most students complete the math or reading battery within 45 minutes.
   
   
2. Bring your notification letter with you and a photo ID. You will not be allowed to test without a photo ID.

4. Read ACCUPLACER Information! You will be able to prepare for the ONLINE test after you have read how the mathematics, reading or writing placement test is structured. The math placement test is Elementary and Intermediate Algebra. You must refresh your algebra skills! We highly recommend this book for refreshing: Forgotten Algebra, Barron's, 3rd Edition. Also, do not bring a calculator!  If calculator use is appropriate, a calculator icon will appear on the screen for the tester to use.

5. Do not schedule an on-campus testing session if you desire to test at a remote test location and not Towson University.
