Group Description
The Towson University Philosophy Forum is a student-run, SGA-budgeted group at Towson University. Its membership consists of Towson students who actively seek to
engage their college peers in philosophical discussions on campus.

We produce or co-sponsor many events on Towson's campus in conjunction with the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies such as the Annual Spring Undergraduate Conference, the Wing-Chun Wong Memorial Lecture, and the Ian Moore Memorial Lecture.

We also edit and publish Towson's undergraduate philosophical journal entitled "The Journal of Philosophical Ideas."

In addition, we encourage students to attend philosophical conferences and represent Towson University as they engage other members of the philosophical community by helping to facilitate trips.

Meetings are held every other Wednesday from 5:00 pm until 7 pm on the 4th floor of the Center for Liberal Arts, in the lounge by the philosophy offices.

All are invited to attend our weekly meetings and engage the group in philosophical discussion and debate.
