Osher Lifelong Learning Institute
The Auburn Society is a Learning in Retirement program whose mission is to offer adults age 50 and older opportunities for continued learning, along with programs and activities for social and cultural enrichment. The Auburn Society was founded in 1999 to promote learning as a life-long process that can be enhanced in a congenial atmosphere with like-minded people. The name originates from the Society’s first home in the historic Auburn House on the Towson University campus
Center for Applied Information Technology
The Center for Applied Information Technology (CAIT) at Towson University responds to the needs of the business community in the region by providing education and training in current information technology (IT) skills and practices.
Center for Geographic Information Sciences
Since 1998, our ESRI Authorized training team has conducted ArcView GIS courses in a state-of-the-art computing facility on the Towson University campus, and in 2000, we achieved designation as an ESRI Authorized Partner Education Center. Building on our success, we've expanded our education program to include additional courses covering both hands-on, software-specific training, and lecture-style workshops on a variety of GIS topics. As an ESRI Authorized Partner Education Center, CGIS conducts one-, two-, three-, and five-day, customized GIS training for your businesses or agency staff and offers an Introduction to GIS course.
