Biography
Ms. Mallah has developed extensive experience in the areas of quantitative and qualitative economic analysis and research. Her expertise ranges from performing labor market and economic analyses to conducting litigation support, policy analysis and economic development strategies. At RESI, Ms. Mallah often serves as the project manager for these types of projects. She is also the lead author of AEHS publications produced regularly on behalf of clients including: the Maryland Office of the Comptroller, local Maryland spending affordability committees and the Maryland Daily Record Newspaper.
Recently, Ms. Mallah conducted an independent market needs assessment, (analyzing supply and demand of retail space in Prince George's County, Maryland), on behalf of MIE Properties. In the past, Ms. Mallah served as a contributing author of the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce's economic development strategy for the eastern portion of Baltimore County. In the past, she has aided in the development of a model to calculate estimated enrollment levels associated with a proposed Medicaid Buy-In program (on behalf of the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene). She has also developed an analytical framework with which to perform a tax differential analysis for Carroll County, Maryland.
