Spotlight on Daraius Irani

Under the direction of Dr. Daraius Irani, the Regional Economic Studies Institute (RESI) provides economic analyses and economic forecasts for a diverse array of private businesses and government agencies. Dr. Irani joined RESI over 10 years ago, after earning his PhD in Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he specialized in labor economics and public finance. "One of the most rewarding aspects of working at RESI is the privilege of working on a wide variety of projects including projects that have the potential to influence statewide economic policy", says Dr. Irani.
