 GIS Training
More than 550 professionals from a variety of government and business backgrounds have participated in our GIS training courses. Since 1998, our ESRI Authorized training team has conducted ArcView and ArcGIS courses on the Towson University campus, and in 2000, we achieved designation as an ESRI Authorized Training Center. Building on our success, we've expanded our education program to include additional courses covering both hands-on, software-specific training, and lecture-style workshops on a variety of GIS topics.
As an ESRI Authorized Partner Education Center, CGIS conducts one-, two-, and three-day GIS training classes. We can also customize any training course for your staff.
Towson University now grants CEUs for GIS training classes, as follows:
- For one-day courses, 8 contact hours/.8 CEUs are granted.
- For two-day courses, 16 contact hours/1.6 CEUs are granted.
- For three-day courses, 24 contact hours/1.6 CEUs are granted.
Students will receive a CEU Certificate at the end of the class on the final day.
