Course Title: Case Studies in Information Systems Management

Prerequisite: AIT 628 and 630

 

 

Course Description: Real-world projects dealing with the issues related to development, management and maintenance of large-scaled information systems; emphasis is on business information systems for a distributed environment. 

 

 

Course Objectives: Upon completion of this course students should:

 

1.                  be able to design and implement distributed information systems;

 

2.                  understand the issues involved in managing a distributed information systems;

 

3.                  understand the security issues concerning an information systems;

 

4.                  understand and be able to predict cost, schedule and resource requirements for developing and maintaining a large-scaled information system
