Course Title: Case Studies in Networking Technology

Prerequisite: AIT 622

 

 

Course Description: Real-world projects dealing with the development, installation, and management of application systems for a variety of networks environment; emphasis is on distributed applications for LAN, WAN, Internet and Intranet.

 

 

Course Objectives: Upon completion of this course students should:

 

1.                  be able to design and implement distributed application systems;

 

2.                  understand the issues involved in developing distributed information systems for Internet applications and e-commerce; 

 

3.                  understand the security issues concerning computer networks.
