Division of Economic and Community Outreach

towson university

Towson University’s commitment to combine research-based learning with practical application extends beyond campus borders. Through partnerships, people and programs, Maryland’s metropolitan university influences the development and well being of the state and region.

Formed in 2004, the Division of Economic and Community Outreach (DECO) is the bridge that links the highly qualified research and project talent of the University to the larger community it serves. DECO does this through a variety of business units that can provide a full range of educational, research, and technological services. DECO’s client base includes federal, state, and county and local government agencies; non-profit organizations; and private sector companies.
