Fieldwork
Level I Fieldwork
Level I Fieldwork experiences take place in conjunction with
academic courses during three of the terms. There are four
Level I clinical courses:
- Psychosocial Dysfunction
- Physical Dysfunction
- Pediatric
- Occupational Health Promotion Initiatives in the
Community
These are hands-on participatory experiences that allow
students to put classroom knowledge into practice. Typically, a
minimum of 30 hours are required in each of the fieldwork
placements. Fieldwork times vary, but in general, they will be
the same as class time with additional hours allotted for travel
time each way. Some students may be assigned to a week-long
experience.
