The Position:
The Human Resource Development MS degree program in the Psychology Department at Towson University invites qualified individuals to apply for a full-time, tenure-track position as Assistant Professor in Human Resource Development, beginning August 2012 (contingent on funding). Applicants must possess a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and show potential for a productive research program in the field of human resource development, management and leadership, and/or organization development and change. Applicants must hold an earned doctorate degree in human resource development, management, psychology, or a closely related discipline. It is preferred that applicants have experience teaching at the University level as well as a history of professional work experience.
Requirements:
The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching graduate courses in organizational behavior, leadership, team building, conflict management, applied research, and other specialty courses such as administrative theory. This position will also be responsible for student advising as well as participation on departmental or university committees.
