The College of Business and Economics at Towson University invites applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Finance. The College of Business & Economics is an AACSB accredited institution with over 3,000 business majors and part of a large, diverse metropolitan university in the Baltimore-Washington D.C. area. The College of Business & Economics currently is the largest undergraduate business school by enrollment in the state of Maryland. The department of finance currently has seven full time faculty members. Job Qualifications
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in Finance from an AACSB accredited institution and must provide evidence of potential for both quality teaching and scholarly research potential. ABD’s who can demonstrate significant progress towards completion of the degree by May 2010 will also be considered. The position requires a nine credit teaching load per semester for the first three years. The salary is competitive.
