Assistant Professor, Psychology. The Psychology Department of Towson University invites applicants for a full-time tenure-track position as assistant professor in Industrial/Organizational Psychology beginning August 2010. Applicants must have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and show potential for a productive research program. Candidates must hold a doctorate in Psychology or a related discipline such as Organizational Behavior and will be responsible for teaching primarily undergraduate courses in the areas of industrial/organizational psychology, research methods and/or behavioral statistics, with expertise in one or more of the following areas desirable: personnel selection, assessment, diversity, conflict resolution, leadership development, and organizational change. The opportunity to teach graduate courses in the Department’s Human Resource Development Program is a future possibility. Student advising and participation on department or University committees also are expected.
