For payments made to faculty, staff and students who are not US Citizens or Permanent Resident Aliens, Towson University must determine tax status and ensure required tax withholding. Individuals will need to e-mail nratax@towson.edu to request an appointment. You must have your Social Security Number, your hiring paperwork, immigration documents (I-94, I-20/I-797, visa and passport) and proof of I-9 verification to present at time of appointment. Tax analysis must be complete before any payment will be made to individuals. International Student/Scholar
