PRAXIS I PREPARATION
NOW AVAILABLE
FOR FALL AND SPRING EXAMS!

 Students planning to declare the education major and provisional teachers must pass the Praxis I Exam, a test that assesses each candidate’s general abilities in reading comprehension, fundamental math, grammar, and writing. Provisional teachers must also pass this exam in order to become certified in Maryland.
 If you need help preparing for the Praxis I exam, sign up for Praxis I Strategies, a series of coach classes focusing on these skills:

Reading Writing Grammar Math

Saturday classes on campus at TU (classroom to be announced) from 9:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M.

Cost: $325 for 6 class session of all three subjects; $125 for one subject only (2 class sessions); $225 for two subjects only (4 class sessions). Enrollment limited.
Scholarships available for TU EE/SE students and Baltimore County teachers. See the flyer for further information.

Cost: $325 for three subjects 6 class session; $125 for one subject (2 class sessions); $225 for two subjects (4 class sessions). Enrollment limited.

Note: When you take the Praxis test itself, no cell phones are allowed in the room where the test is given.

Saturdays 9/24 (Reading), 10/1 (Reading), 10/8 (Math), 10/15 (Math), 10/22 (Writing), 10/29 (Writing)
   
Session 2  
Saturdays 11/5 (Reading), 11/12 (Reading), 11/19 (Writing), 12/3 (Writing), 12/10 (Math), 12/17 (Math)
   
Session 3 Session 3 has been cancelled due to low enrollment.
Saturdays 1/21 (Reading), 1/28 (Reading), 2/4 (Writing), 2/11 (Writing), 2/18 (Math), 2/25 (Math)
   
Session 4 Registrations AND tuitions are due no later than Friday, Feb 10.
Saturdays 3/10 (Reading), 3/17 (Reading), 3/31 (Writing), 4/14 (Writing), 4/21 (Math), 4/28 (Math)
