Graduate Placement Examination in Music History & Theory  THE PLACEMENT EXAMINATION: A Placement Examination in Music History and Music Theory is required for enrollment in Graduate Studies in Music. The examination is given twice a year. The next one is scheduled on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 5:00p-6:30p (Music Theory Exam) and 6:30p-8:00p (Music History Exam). The examination will be given in the Center for the Arts Room 3077 and will last for a total of approximately three (3) hours. If the university is closed for inclement weather on January 24, the alternate snow date is Saturday, January 28 starting at 10:00am. Preparing for the Graduate Placement Exams is extremely important.
