I was honored to have been selected for this scholarship and to “represent” the state of Maryland and Towson University at Trinity College. When I left Baltimore in January 2004 for a semester in London, I hoped that besides being an awesome education and musical opportunity, my studies abroad would also provide me with opportunities for personal development and enrichment . . . Well I certainly wasn’t disappointed! The four months which I spent in London, out of a total six months in Europe, truly became an amazing saga of life experiences which I will cherish forever. I benefited from my time in London in countless ways: musically, academically, culturally, and personally. Upon my return, I was interview and accepted as a British Council USA Student Ambassador for the 2004-05 Academic Year.
