MESRP SUMMER RESEARCH INTERNSHIP

Recommendation Form

Dear Writer of Recommendation,

__________________________, a student who is applying for a Summer 2004 research internship through the Maryland Educators’ Summer Research Program (MESRP), seeks your recommendation. The recommendation involves two parts:

* completing the checklist below, and

* writing a brief letter that addresses your reasons for recommending the student for

an internship placement.

Please submit the letter on official letterhead. Either return the letter and checklist to the applicant in a sealed envelope with your signature over the back flap, or mail it directly to the address below. Awarding of internships is competitive, and your input is a key component in our evaluation of the student’s application. Thank you for your willingness to assist in this matter.
