MESRP SUMMER RESEARCH INTERNSHIP Recommendation Form for Faculty |

Dear MCTP Faculty
Member, __________________________, a student who is applying for a Summer 2004 research internship through the Maryland Educators’ Summer Research Program (MESRP), seeks your recommendation. You have been selected, in part, because you have either taught an MCTP course that this student took, or are currently teaching a course in which this student is currently enrolled. The recommendation involves two parts: *
completing the checklist below, and *
writing a brief letter that addresses your reasons for recommending the
student for an internship placement. Please submit the letter
on official college or university letterhead. Either return the letter and checklist to the applicant in a
sealed envelope with your signature over the back flap, or mail it directly
to the address below. Recommendations
must be received in the office no later than MARCH 17, 2004. If you have any questions, please contact

is competitive, and your input is a key component in our evaluation of the
