Project Outcomes *improving and consolidating course offerings related to media studies in the region *consolidating the linkage between scholarship and teaching for a younger generation of media studies researchers *creating a network of junior researchers in media studies from the region *initiating the cooperation between new researchers and the existing network of media studies researchers in the West and in the region *expanding the teaching methodologies in the region *establishing a visiting lecturer program among junior scholars in media studies in the region *monitoring and creating access to Western and local literature related to media studies *creating a database of local and Western media studies practitioners *developing academic and scholarly capacities of young faculty teaching in the field *developing regional and international exchange networks and collaboration among academics
