Our mission is to provide an excellent broad-based education in marketing and e-Business that enables students to excel in positions of responsibility and leadership in a dynamic business environment by means of: dedication to students and personalized service; teaching excellence; involvement with businesses, nonprofit organizations, and government; and committment to the highest ethical standards.
| The Department of Marketing and e-Business supports programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Marketing is one of the most popular concentrations in Business Administration for undergraduate students. Towson University is the only institution in the University System of Maryland with an undergraduate degree in e-Business. In the graduate UB/Towson MBA program, students can specialize in marketing. Our many graduates have moved on to successful careers in business (for-profit), government, and the nonprofit sectors.

Students are assigned an adviser upon declaring marketing as a concentration or e-Business as a major. Students meet with their advisers each term to discuss their program and for assistance in making any necessary changes in their course of study.
