Department of Management

Undergraduate Programs

The Department of Management offers a flexible curriculum for students who wish to pursue tracks in general management, human resource management or international business. Within each track students have the discretion to select a combination of courses that is most consistent with their academic and career goals. The curriculum of each track is reviewed on a regular basis and revised and updated to ensure that it remains timely and relevant to the needs of employers.

Students who pursue a track within the department complete all lower-and upper-level course requirements for business administration majors as well as 21 units in their concentration area.  The business administration requirements include 21 unites in lower-level prerequisites and 33 unites in upper-level core courses. All major requirements must be completed with a GPA of 2.00 or higher. To enroll in upper-level core and concentration/track courses, students must complete the seven specific lower-level prerequisite courses with a grade equivalent of 2.00 or higher and a minimum GPA of 2.70 for all seven lower-level core prerequisites.
