Academic Department Template Options (H3)

Following are a number of department Web page template options, ranging from basic to more complex. Choose a template based on your department’s needs, keeping in mind design capabilities and content upkeep. You can choose all, some or none of the components, including photos, “Announcement Boxes,” and “Spotlights.” Note that components can always be added at a later date. In all of the options, photos can be horizontal or vertical.

The left navigation shown in these examples is for departments with both undergraduate and graduate programs. Optional links are noted with an *. So, for example, if your department does not offer a graduate program, delete that link. For example of a department with either a single major or minor, see below.
