SEPTEMBER CELEBRATION 2009

Start the year out right! Towson University begins each new academic year with September Celebration, a month-long series of events and activities for the entire campus community. The celebration includes free concerts, comedians, athletic events, lectures, community service opportunities, ways to get involved on campus, and plenty of activities to welcome you to Towson!

Pigskin Pass Fundraiser for Special Olympics

Time TBA, Running the football from Delaware to Towson

The Pigskin Pass is a joint community service program with the University of Delaware surrounding the annual TU-Delaware football game. Student-athletes from both schools will run a 58-mile relay race transporting a commemorative football from Delaware to Towson before taking the field for the big game. The athletes solicit sponsorships to raise money for Special Olympics programs  in Maryland and Delaware. Show your support for Towson and the Special Olympics—make a donation online at www.pigskinpass.com and help your Tigers beat Delaware for most funds raised before they beat them on the field!
