Financial Aid Basics

Cost of Attendance Budgets

Eligibility to receive financial aid is based on Cost of Attendance Budgets that include estimated direct expenses such as tuition, fees, room and board, and allowances for indirect expenses including books, personal and transportation expenses.

TU will not set its final official 2012-2013 costs until June 2012, but these Cost of Attendance budgets are based on the best available estimates of those costs.

The "MD Resident" and "Out-of-State" budgets include Room/Board allowances for students living on-campus or off-campus. These allowances are based on the estimated costs for a standard on-campus multiple-occupancy room and the 14 meals per week meal plan. Exact costs will vary based on each student's meal plan and housing selections.
