APPLYING FOR AID

Students StudyingCurrent Undergraduates

Continuing Towson students:

You are a continuing student if you are currently enrolled at Towson, and plan to return for the 2009-2010 academic year.

Apply for aid in January of 2009 for the 2009-2010 academic year by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at the U.S. Department of Education's FAFSA Web site. (If you prefer to complete a paper FAFSA, you can request one by calling 1-800-4FED-AID.)

If you completed a FAFSA for the 2008-2009 aid year, you can complete your 2009-2010 FAFSA on the Web.  You will need your U.S. Department of Education PIN.  If you have forgolten or misplaced it, you can request a duplicate at www.pin.ed.gov, using the "Request a PIN" option.

Make sure that we receive the results of your FAFSA by listing Towson University, Title IV school code 002099, in Step 6 of your FAFSA. If you have already completed your FAFSA, but did not include Towson as one of the schools to receive the results, you can add Towson by going to the U.S. Department of Education's FAFSA Web site..

Remember, you must reapply for aid every year!
