How has Towson helped you to apply what you learn in the classroom to the business world?
“TU opened doors for me to work at the Library of Congress, Bank of America, and even right on campus in an awesome internship with Undergraduate Marketing. I have learned how important time management and planning ahead are in the busi ness world. I have also seen how a department multi-tasks to accomplish goals.”
How have you used your Community Enrichment and Enhancement Partnership (CEEP) scholarship to improve your time at TU?
“One of the best things for me about receiving the CEEP scholarship is that I get to be involved in all kinds of multicultural activities. It also helps me pay for college, which is a huge plus!”
Are you involved in any other community service programs?
“I have participated in community service projects with the Latin American Student Organization (LASO), volunteered for the Battle of the Bands concert and I am also a member of SAGE (Students Achieve Goals Through Education).”
How did living on campus for your first two years help you to get involved?
“I am glad I lived on campus for my first two years. It forced me to join more student groups, participate with more campus activities, and made me feel more connected to TU as a whole. I have so many friends in so many different groups that it seems like I never get home.”
What do you do in your spare time?
“Today I had a meeting with our Wall $treet Investors club, then I went to the Patuxent for lunch, followed by the Anne Frank exhibit at the Center for the Arts, such an amazing story.
I made $410 on my stock today! I also like to roller-skate, and I play basketball on a club team.”
