The To-Do List information below is for students entering fall 2011. Information for students entering fall 2012 will be available in mid-April.
Get ready to get Involved@TU!
One of the best ways to enhance your college
experience is to get involved. At Towson University,
you have countless opportunities to interact with
people who have the same interests and passions as
you. You can even try something new!
There are many ways to get involved. You can
make new friends through Fraternity and Sorority
Life, volunteer with the Red Cross Corps, represent
your peers as a member of the Student Government
Association, play club ice hockey or learn about
another culture in one of our many cultural
organizations. It’s all possible at TU with over 250
student organizations on campus.
- Visit the Involved@TU website and log in with
your Towson username and password. This is
where you can view a comprehensive list of all
student organizations at TU.
- To browse the full list of organizations, click on
the Involvement Categories tab. There’s a sort
bar at the top of the page to help narrow the list
to organizations relevant to your interest. You can
also search for an organization by name.
- To get more information on an organization,
click on its name to view a profile and contact
information.
- When you’re ready to join, just create a personal
profile and then click the Join Organization icon
next to the organization’s name. (We recommend
you send a follow-up e-mail to the organization to
confirm your interest.)
If you don’t find an organization that exactly fits your interest, you can start your own. For more
information, contact the Office of Student Activities.
Even if you’re not ready to join an organization,
you’ll have lots to choose from with the variety of
activities planned for students each term. Student
organizations like the Campus Activities Board (CAB)
sponsor numerous cultural, educational and social
programs for all Towson students. Check out guest
lecturers, comedians, film screenings, coffeehouse
events and road trips throughout the year at
the Campus Activities Board website.
Fall Involvement Fair
Mark your calendar for the annual fall
Involvement Fair, taking place on
September 7, 2011 from 4–6 p.m. in West Village. This is a great opportunity to talk to
student organization members, learn about their organizations and find out how you can get involved.
