freshman transition program to-do list

Step 14: Pay CCBC Tuition Bill and Towson Student Services Bill

You will receive two bills while participating in the Freshman Transition Program:

  • CCBC tuition bill and

  • Towson housing and student services bill

These bills will include tuition, fees, housing and meal plan expenses (if applicable).

Both CCBC and Towson will invoice you for your fall 2012 charges. These bills will be mailed together to your permanent address in July, and payment is due on August 1, 2012. Your registration will be canceled for non-payment if payment is not received by both schools by the deadline.

Tuition and Billing Information

CCBC tuition varies by residency. 2011-2012 rates*:

  • Baltimore County students pay $103 per credit

  • other Maryland residents pay $196 per credit

  • non-Maryland residents pay $294 per credit

Current information pertaining to CCBC 2012-2013 tuition and rates can be found online at the CCBC website. Please note that CCBC fees are waived for Towson University Freshman Transition Program students.

How to Pay

Instructions for payment will be included in your bill.

CCBC Tuition Refund Policy

Courses officially dropped prior to the first day of the semester (full semester)  ................100%

Courses officially dropped prior to the end of the third week (full semester) ......................... 50%

Courses officially dropped during the first one-fifth (20%) of the session .............................. 50% (summer, winter, extra session or courses not full semester in duration)

In order to ensure accurate and timely processing of refunds, you should verify that your current permanent address is on file in the CCBC Office of Records and Registration, 443-840-2955. Financial aid recipients who drop courses may have their financial aid award reduced and may be held responsible for repayment to CCBC.
