Contact: Student Computer Services Desk - 410-704-5151

The To-Do List information below is for students entering fall 2011. Information for students entering fall 2012 will be available in mid-April.

Towson will communicate with you using your Towson student computing and e-mail account, also referred to as your NetID. Your NetID account provides you with access to:
n Campus computers

  • Your Towson e-mail account—Webmail Powered by Google
  • Network file storage and Web publishing space
  • Towson Online Services for bill payment and online to-do lists
  • Blackboard for online courses
  • Off-campus access to library databases

It is imperative that you check your Webmail Powered by Google e-mail account regularly for important information about your transition to TU, including to-do list e-mails and other university
communications.

To activate your NetID, you will need your seven-digit TU student ID number, which is found on your Offer of Participation letter. If you cannot locate your TU ID number, contact the Office of Admissions, 410-704-2113.

  2. Click the Account Tools link to the right side of the page to open the Account Tools page.
  3. Under the heading Student NetID (Account) Management Tools, click Activate Your NetID.
  4. Read the page.
  5. Identify yourself by entering the information requested. Your TU ID number is found on the Offer of Admission letter you received with your 2011 Enrollment Contract Package.
