Steven Heller to speak at TU Oct. 26

TOWSON, Md. (Oct. 18, 2006)—Steven Heller, editor of the AIGA Journal of Graphic Design and chair of the M.F.A. design department at the School of the Visual Arts, will discuss "Intervention: Design and Politics of the 20th Century" on Thursday, Oct. 26, at 6:30 p.m. in the Center for the Arts, Harold J. Kaplan Concert Hall.

Heller is the author or editor of more than 70 books on graphic design, contributor or contributing editor to nearly 25 magazines, and senior art director of The New York Times since 1986.

Preregistration by October 19
Tickets: $7 students; $10 AIGA members; $15 Non-members

At the door: $12 students; $15 AIGA members; $20 non-members

Admission is free for TU students.
