Grub Street grabs gold

Student literary and arts publication earns high honor

TOWSON, Md. (April 5, 2008)—Grub Street, the Towson University student literary and arts magazine, has been awarded the Columbia Scholastic Press Association's Gold Award for 2007. The Gold Award is the highest award that CSPA offers student publications.

Out of all entrants that CSPA received, Grub Street 2007 was judged one of the top six collegiate literary magazines in the United States.

Grub Street 2005 also went gold. All other Grub Street issues submitted for judging have made it to the Silver Circle, an honor reserved for the top 20 student publications in the U.S.

The brand-new issue, Grub Street 2008, will be "on the street" by May 14.
