Campus master plan video reveals Towson's vision for the year 2030
TOWSON, Md. (Feb. 17, 2010)—Towson University has released a new campus master plan video offering a glimpse of what the university will look like by the year 2030. The two-minute video features a virtual fly-over of the campus and highlights major forthcoming projects, including the College of Health Professions building, West Village phases II through IV, the Towson Center renovation and addition, Cook Library and Smith Hall expansions, and the new campus gateway.
The campus master plan provides the framework for TU's physical landscape—from buildings to roads to utilities—in support of the university's mission and initiatives. The plan is updated every five years; the most recent update was approved in October 2009. To find out more about the 2009 master plan, visit the Facilities Planning Web site.
