Don't miss the TU Marching Band on Thanksgiving morning

TOWSON, Md. (Nov. 24, 2009)—Tune in on Thursday, Nov. 26, as the Towson University Marching Band steps off and heads down Broadway in this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The parade starts at 9 a.m., with the Tiger Band making its television appearance as it crosses Herald Square at 11:43 a.m. WBAL-TV (11) in Baltimore and WRC-TV (4) in Washington, D.C., will broadcast the event, which is expected to draw 50 million television viewers nationwide.

The Towson University Marching Band is the only university band in the nation participating in this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The band's superior musical ability, marching and performance skills earned them a slot in the legendary parade line-up.
